Job description:
|
• Managing corporate and divisional budgets and interface with Managers and Division Leads.
Establish and maintain corporate accounting principles, practices, procedures and initiatives.
Prepare financial reports and analysis. Conduct internal audits and manage the preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal reporting requirements, including the FAR and DFAR.
Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills:
|
• Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field and 10-15 years of accounting experience preferably in a government contracting environment.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a highly productive team member capable of making decisions and insightful contributions.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Detail oriented, flexible and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
Must have a working knowledge of short and long term budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.
Experience in accounting for operations in multiple states as well as familiarity with multi-state regulatory requirements.
Experience with Deltek or other job cost accounting system required.
Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. |
